Following the completion of an MSc in Environmental Archaeology, Tegan started work at PCA Cambridge in 2018 as an environmental processor and junior specialist. Since then, she has become an established archaeobotanist and marine shell specialist at PCA. Tegan has undertaken work in Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Lincolnshire, Norfolk, Suffolk, and Warwickshire, from evaluation reports through to publication work. Tegan helps produce project specific sampling strategies and enjoys helping train staff in environmental processes and broadening their understanding of the discipline. Alongside her specialist role, Tegan oversees the environmental processing for the PCA Central offices, as well as taking on samples from other regional offices, ensuring work is undertaken to a good standard and within allotted deadlines. In addition to this, Tegan supervises staff in the finds department, again overseeing processing, budgets, and deadlines for projects.
