Maisie has worked for PCA Winchester since 2014, starting as a field archaeologist before progressing through to Project Officer running teams on fieldwork projects across the South of England. Sites include; Barton Farm, Winchester, a large multi-phase site, which included the excavation of Iron Age and Roman Cemeteries, Winchester’s Roman Aqueduct and 18th Century Hessian and English Military camps; Faberlux Yard, Winchester, an excavation to locate and preserve the insitu remains of the medieval Greyfriars site and Coldean Lane, Brighton a site chalk downland site with prehistoric lynchets.
Maisie has also supervised post-excavation for the Winchester Office for several years including the initial processing of material and the eventual long-term outcomes for archaeological archives.
Maisie’s extensive fieldwork and post-excavation experience makes her a valued Project Manager at PCA Winchester.
