Prehistoric Pottery Specialist

Lawrence started his career as an archaeologist in 2011 with the Cambridge Office of PCA, following on from his studies at Bristol University. His initial focus was on fieldwork, rapidly progressing towards working as a Project Officer for over a decade with a focus on sites within the East Anglian and East Midlands. These experiences naturally led to an interest in prehistoric ceramics, a field in which he has exclusively worked in as PCA’s specialist since 2023, having previously combined these endeavours with fieldwork.
