Roman Pottery Specialist

Iza studied Archaeology at the University of Ljubljana in Slovenia. During her studies she spent a semester at Newcastle University as part of the Erasmus exchange programme. She worked as a curatorial intern in a museum in Slovenia and excavated in France as a volunteer. She has been working in British commercial archaeology since 2017, joining PCA in 2018 as a field archaeologist and progressing through to Project Officer before becoming a Roman pottery specialist in 2023. Since then she has worked on a diverse array of pottery assemblages from East Anglia as well as other parts of the UK.
