Chris joined PCA in 1999, developing from field archaeologist to supervisory roles, leading a number of significant projects, including at Southwark Cathedral, the Royal Arsenal in Woolwich, Victoria Square in Belfast, Fort Warden on the Isle of Wight and Fulham Palace, before moving into project management in 2006 and becoming a company director in 2019.
Becoming Managing Director in 2026, Chris now leads the Board to ensure effective operations and the resilience of the company. He works closely with PCA’s clients, staff and colleagues across the sector to ensure the successful delivery of projects ranging from complex urban excavations to large-scale infrastructure schemes.
Chris feels privileged to lead PCA, working with a highly adaptable and trusted workforce who strive to provide value and excellence, whilst treating people fairly.
