A Building Assessment looks closely at a specific building to understand its architectural and historic interest and identify the parts that are most sensitive to alteration. PCA undertakes assessments at an early stage of projects so that the significance of a building can be understood before design and conservation decisions are made.

Our assessments consider the building's history, fabric, architectural features and development over time. The findings help identify which elements are of greater or lesser significance and where proposed alterations may have an impact.
