Archaeological conditions are commonly attached to planning permissions where further investigation or mitigation is required. PCA can help you understand what the condition requires, agree an appropriate approach and manage the archaeological work needed to satisfy it.
From condition to completion
We can advise on the scope of archaeological work, liaise with the relevant planning and archaeological authorities, prepare Written Schemes of Investigation and manage the required fieldwork and reporting.
Depending on the condition and the results of the work, this may include evaluation, excavation, watching briefs, historic building recording, post-excavation assessment and reporting. Where further analysis, publication or archive deposition is required, we can manage these stages through to completion.
