Sîan O’Neill

Finds, Environmental and Archiving Manager
Sîan has been working in commercial archaeology with PCA since 2011. She manages the Finds, Environmental and Archiving department at our Cambridge and Norwich offices, organising the processing of archaeological material and developing strategies to ensure the efficient transfer, tracking and delivery of multiple projects during the post-excavation process. Alongside this, Sîan has managed the day to day running of the Cambridge office and has been a key player in its continuing growth in the Eastern region. Sîan holds an interest in all periods of archaeology and particularly enjoys sharing this interest with others and encouraging their involvement. As such, she has developed in depth outreach programmes for work experience students, held workshops with school children at Key Stage 1 and 2 according to the national curriculum, and presented information to local communities about sites in their local area. Sîan is also the nominated PCA Manager responsible for Mental Health and Wellbeing for the Eastern region.
