Kathy Davidson

Assistant Project Manager

Kathy has worked as an archaeologist since graduating from Newcastle University in 2015 with a BA in Ancient History and Archaeology and an MA in Roman and Byzantine Archaeology. She joined PCA as a Field Archaeologist in 2020, progressing to supervise a number of excavations across London and contribute to their publication before becoming an Assistant Project Manager in 2025.

Prior to joining PCA, Kathy worked on a range of deeply stratified urban sites across London, gaining experience excavating remains dating from the Roman through to the post-medieval period. She also worked in New Zealand on archaeological projects in Christchurch and Kaikōura, contributing to post-earthquake recovery and reconstruction programmes.

Kathy brings diverse field experience and a practical understanding of archaeological excavation to her role as Assistant Project Manager, combining strong organisational skills with a thorough knowledge of fieldwork and project requirements.
