Karen joined PCA in 2026 as Operations Manager, bringing over two decades of experience in global operational leadership, primarily within examination environments. She has extensive experience managing matrix teams across multiple functions and time zones, ensuring that systems are robust, transparent, and effectively owned.

Originally qualifying as a Building Surveyor at the University of Greenwich, Karen went on to build a long career in the examinations sector, where she led operational teams and delivered process improvements across complex organisational structures.

She draws on established project management and continuous improvement methodologies in her day-to-day approach to problem solving, planning, and delivery.

Karen is focused on supporting the continued efficiency and development of PCA’s operations, drawing on her experience to strengthen processes and ways of working across the organisation.
